The world's largest mobile blockchain platform, Pi Network (also known as Pi Coin), with over 60 million active users, today announced the deployment of DeFi infrastructure on its testnet. This release includes a decentralized exchange (DEX), automated market maker (AMM) liquidity pools, and token creation features.

Pi Network founder Dr. Chengdiao Fan announced these new features at the TOKEN 2049 conference in Singapore, providing developers and community members access to core DeFi functionalities. The testnet deployment allows users to experience token swapping, liquidity provision, and decentralized trading in a secure environment using Test-Pi.

Unlike speculative token platforms, Pi Network emphasizes utility creation over speculation. Token creation requires developers to demonstrate real-world use cases and sustainable business models, distinguishing the Pi ecosystem from meme coin-driven platforms.
