In a follow-up thread addressing user criticism, 0xngmi defended the delisting as necessary to preserve data integrity, rejecting claims that Defillama was paid to delist Aster and noting the timing followed a sharp recent volume spike that triggered an investigation. He said Defillama has previously delisted other perp DEXs for suspected wash trading, explained past attempts to delist quietly had generated conspiracy claims, and added that keeping Aster listed with a warning would distort aggregate perp metrics and API users’ data unless the platform changes how it handles flagged feeds.
