- Discussing Virutal and X402 Again

Although I have often talked about Virtual in previous articles and touched on some topics related to X402, many readers still have questions about them.

Regarding Virtual, I remember a few months ago when Genesis Lauches had just gone live, I wrote some thoughts in an article, suggesting that we need to continue observing the future direction of this project. Especially in the next three to six months, if no new projects on the platform generate "internet celebrity" AI Agents similar to AIXBT from the previous small peak, the project's popularity will gradually fade.

Now, looking back at the projects launched on the platform in the following months, I objectively believe that none of the newly generated AI Agents have surpassed the popularity of the former AIXBT.

However, coincidentally, just as the Virtual ecosystem was gradually calming down, the X402 protocol emerged, and this protocol happened to have a batch of AI Agents that fit well within the Virtual ecosystem. This sparked interest and excitement, which in turn boosted the popularity and price of Virtual itself.

I think this is largely a coincidence.

The reason why this coincidence was captured by Virtual and not by other platforms is simple: the Virtual platform adopted a broad approach to cultivate various AI Agents.

This approach covers many fields where AI Agents might be used. Although these Agents may not seem to have potential or value at the moment, it is very likely that one day a new protocol with significant application value will suddenly appear, corresponding to those previously unnoticed Agents, thus reigniting interest in both the related Agents and Virtual.

However, whether such coincidences can continue to occur and be captured by the Virtual ecosystem is uncertain. Ultimately, it depends on whether the Virtual ecosystem can produce truly valuable AI Agents that are widely applied and can serve the public.

So overall, I still think we need to observe Virtual and refrain from drawing conclusions at this time.

For Virtual, as long as I believe the team is solid and the direction is not fundamentally flawed, I will continue to hold onto it. At least up to now, I believe this team is quite good within the crypto ecosystem, and it is worth accompanying and following its growth.

- No Bull Market, Waited 4 Years, Didn't Expect This

Everyone has different opinions on whether there is a bull market, so it's hard to comment.

However, "waited 4 years, didn't expect this" reflects the disappointment of many participants regarding the current market situation.

Sometimes I think: perhaps the previous bull markets in the crypto ecosystem have given many investors the impression that:

There is a bull market every four years in the crypto ecosystem, and each bull market goes "crazy." So as long as one is fortunate enough to participate in any bull market, they can reap substantial rewards.

In fact, if we look at the historical trends of other investment markets, we will find that their historical trajectories are not smooth and often quite bumpy. They have experienced crazy bull markets as well as prolonged and torturous bear markets. Many investment markets have gone through atypical bull markets in history, extinguishing the enthusiasm and aspirations of generations of investors.

Perhaps such investment markets are the truly normal ones.

The "crazy" bull markets in the crypto ecosystem in the past were merely coincidences, gifts, and luck bestowed upon participants during those years.

They are not inevitable, nor are they a pattern.

Therefore, after experiencing this atypical "bull market," we need to change our mindset and adopt a more calm, rational, and low-expectation attitude towards the future trends of the market.
