On November 23, as the highlight of Devconnect, the ETHGlobal Buenos Aires Hackathon officially concluded. One day after the successful end of Devconnect2025, the official Ethereum Developer Conference (@EFDevcon) posted on X announcing that the next Ethereum Developer Conference, Devcon 8, is planned to be held in the fourth quarter of 2026 in Mumbai, India.

This hackathon featured 475 projects competing for a prize pool of $500,000 provided by leading protocols such as the Ethereum Foundation, Worldcoin, and Uniswap. After multiple rounds of selection, 10 projects emerged as finalists.

Compared to previous years, the technical narratives of the final projects were more hardcore and focused. We saw that the x402 protocol is gradually becoming a new standard for payment and agent interaction, the programmability of Bitcoin cross-chain is being redefined, and ZK privacy protection technology is beginning to penetrate specific payment and content traceability scenarios. Additionally, tools for refined LP management targeting Uniswap V4 and prediction markets based on real needs showcased the application layer's extreme pursuit of capital efficiency and authenticity.

Next, Odaily Planet Daily will take you through these 10 projects that represent the latest trends in the Ethereum ecosystem.

x402 Protocol

Paybot

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/paybot-q7grd

Keywords: x402 protocol, IoT, no Gas

Introduction: Paybot is an IoT device access control system based on the x402 payment protocol, designed specifically to address the pain points of Gas fees in micropayments for physical devices. In this architecture, users only need to sign a QUSD stablecoin payment authorization without holding ETH, and the service provider will submit the transaction on-chain and cover the Gas fees. Paybot enables IoT applications like robot leasing to achieve truly low-threshold micropayments, avoiding the high on-chain costs that hinder user experience.

Hubble Trading Arena

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/hubble-trading-arena-oddx1

Keywords: AI agents, autonomous trading, x402 protocol

Introduction: Hubble Trading Arena is an on-chain AI trading environment that demonstrates an automated financial collaboration model without human intervention. On this platform, on-chain agents automatically complete hiring, payment, and collaboration through the x402 and ERC-8004 protocols, conducting real-time market reasoning and trading. Hubble validates the feasibility of thousands of professional financial agents collaborating on-chain, providing a reference for building complex decentralized automated trading strategies.

payload.exchange

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/payloadexchange-x07pi

Keywords: x402 protocol, sponsorship model, data monetization

Introduction: Payload Exchange is a payment agent layer based on the x402 protocol, which expands the traditional payment experience by introducing a third-party "sponsor" mechanism. In this system, sponsors can pay part or all of the fees in exchange for specific actions or data from users, allowing users to access content without direct payment. This tripartite cooperation model aims to lower the barriers to content access while providing merchants and sponsors with a new monetization path based on user behavior and data value.

zkx402 (ProofofLeak)

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/zkx402-proofofleak-wxtjf

Keywords: x402 payment protocol, authentication

Introduction: zkx402 is a privacy extension of the x402 payment protocol, integrating zero-knowledge proofs to support more refined transaction scenarios. This protocol introduces a variable pricing mechanism based on identity (such as human or AI agents) and allows content producers to prove data sources (such as sensor data or author identity) without exposing privacy. zkx402 is particularly suitable for scenarios that require protection of message sources, such as whistleblower mechanisms or sensitive data transactions, ensuring the security and anonymity of the payment and verification processes.

Prediction Market

JetLagged

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/jetlagged-kt8i0

Keywords: prediction market, flight delays, Farcaster

Introduction: JetLagged is a decentralized flight delay prediction market deployed on the Celo and Oasis networks. The platform utilizes an AMM mechanism to adjust odds in real-time based on market demand and automatically verifies flight status through the Oasis backend oracle, ensuring the decentralization and fairness of result parsing. Additionally, JetLagged integrates the Farcaster Frame, allowing users to participate in predictions directly within social applications, aiming to provide airline travelers with a transparent, automated on-chain assurance tool.

Bitcoin Cross-Chain

BMCP

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/bmcp-pfm11

Keywords: Bitcoin cross-chain, Schnorr signatures, interoperability

Introduction: BMCP (Bitcoin Multi-Chain Protocol) aims to connect Bitcoin with the EVM ecosystem through cross-chain programmability. Users can directly use Bitcoin's native Schnorr signatures (Taproot) to sign transactions, which are then verified by the cross-chain relay engine (CRE) for valid messages in OP_RETURN, triggering contract calls on chains like Ethereum using Chainlink CCIP. BMCP achieves secure control of DeFi interactions on EVM chains using Bitcoin assets while maintaining minimal trust.

LP Management

Yoga

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/yoga-up5v4

Keywords: Uniswap V4, liquidity management

Introduction: Yoga is a non-fungible position manager designed for Uniswap V4, aimed at addressing the lack of flexibility in traditional liquidity position management. Unlike the traditional model where each NFT represents a single price range, Yoga allows LPs to manage multiple sub-positions within a single NFT, enabling complex liquidity distribution across price ranges. Through a simplified interface, the contract can automatically calculate and execute underlying position modifications, helping LPs execute complex market-making strategies more efficiently.

Aqua0

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/aqua0-u2krx

Keywords: cross-chain AMM, shared liquidity, LayerZero

Introduction: Aqua0 aims to extend the Aqua shared liquidity layer developed by 1inch to a multi-chain environment through LayerZero's cross-chain messaging technology. Addressing the issues of liquidity fragmentation and low utilization in the current DEX market, Aqua0 builds a cross-chain AMM market that allows funds idling on different chains to be unified and scheduled. This improvement significantly enhances capital efficiency, enabling LPs to unlock more profit opportunities through seamless cross-chain asset interactions.

Privacy Protection

LensMint Web3 Camera

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/lensmint-web3-camera-yzu6m

Keywords: hardware signing, ZK verification, content traceability

Introduction: LensMint is a hardware-based "camera to blockchain" system designed to ensure the authenticity of news images and creative content through technological means. The system performs hardware-level signing at the moment of photo capture, generating zero-knowledge proofs using vlayer and ensuring that the data stored on Filecoin is immutable. LensMint provides journalists, creators, and event organizers with a trustless verification mechanism, addressing content traceability issues while automating ownership attribution and revenue sharing through an integrated QR code system.

Halo

Award homepage: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/halo-hi8bv

Keywords: World ID, privacy protection, data monetization

Introduction: Halo is a mini-program based on World Chain, dedicated to transforming users' offline consumption behavior into on-chain value while protecting privacy. Addressing the pain point of real economic data often being locked in closed systems, Halo allows users to scan shopping receipts, extract merchant and consumption information, and utilize World ID to verify user identity to prevent witch attacks. This project establishes an effective mechanism that connects real economic behavior with on-chain rewards while ensuring the privacy of users' personal identities.
