Ondo Finance has invested $25 million in YLDS, the yield-bearing stablecoin issued by Figure Certificate Company (FCC), to support its Ondo Short-Term US Treasuries Fund (OUSG). The investment aims to diversify the fund’s yield sources and strengthen its portfolio, which already includes funds from leading asset managers like Blackrock, Fidelity, and Franklin Templeton.
The strategic partnership builds on Figure’s blockchain-based lending infrastructure and OUSG’s significant growth, with over $780 million in total value locked. Michael Tannenbaum, CEO of Figure Technology Solutions, highlighted the collaboration as a step towards transforming financial markets through blockchain technology, emphasizing faster, more transparent, and inclusive money movement.
