Trading Insights
New coin trading insights (must-read for beginners): 1. Set stop-losses; I generally set a 10% stop-loss or immediately stop-loss if the price deviates from my opening logic. 2. It is recommended to divide trades into 5-10 parts; for new coins, it’s best not to use leverage or keep it within 3X. (Advantage: if there are losses in any trade, the overall mindset won't be affected) (This is a relatively safe strategy because there are many new coins; as long as the overall win rate and profit-loss ratio are sufficient, it’s fine.) 3. Use low leverage for new coins, as it’s normal for new coins to fluctuate by 10-20 points; high leverage will definitely be unsustainable. 4. If the opening price deviates too much from my cost, don’t follow it.

Analysis
From the data of Bitcoin, liquidity over the weekend has further decreased, and the turnover rate is also declining; these are standard weekend figures. The turnover rate on Sunday is expected to drop further, and the overall market sentiment remains quite stable, with prices maintaining small fluctuations.
Next week, there is a high possibility that MSCI will make a decision to exclude cryptocurrencies that exceed 50% in proportion. If this exclusion happens, it may impact the price of $MSTR, and it might start to reflect as early as next Monday, potentially affecting BTC as well. However, this is just a minor episode for BTC and will not lead to any fundamental changes. A pullback to around 87320-86800-86150 can be a buying opportunity, with a rebound target around 88300-90200. A rebound to around 87900-88350-88900 can be a selling opportunity, with targets around 86800-86180-85400.

Analysis
The weekend's performance was as expected, which is a good sign. The dual liquidity trough of Christmas and New Year combined with the weekend is the easiest time to trigger price fluctuations in Bitcoin. Reducing volatility is already a positive outcome, and yesterday BTC was close to reaching $90,000 again, which has happened multiple times over the past week. Whenever it approaches $90,000, it tends to get pushed back down. This $90,000 barrier seems quite difficult to break.
There are no significant macro data releases in the coming week, only the Federal Reserve's meeting minutes on Wednesday, but it shouldn't bring any surprises. The probability of a first rate cut in January 2026 is still low, with more expectations set for the second half of the year after Powell's successor takes over. A pullback to around 2907.5 can be a buying opportunity, with a rebound target around 2980.
