Look at $MSTY over the past year, which generates a huge yield for "income" to investors who own the shares, luring them in with this distribution.

I don't know what the annualized yield was last year, but it was ridiculously high.

It's currently paying an annualized yield of ~90%.

Even despite this yield, the ETF is down -45% YoY.

Investors thought this was free money.

Instead, they lost half of what they invested.

Sad.
