On January 25, 2026, OKX's "New Year's Eve Dinner" event officially concluded.
As a special gathering for industry builders, this event was sponsored by partners such as 0G and Base, inviting over a hundred industry builders and dozens of media guests to participate. The event provided a deeper communication scenario for the industry at the year-end, focusing on topics such as OKX's latest product planning, industry hot topics analysis, and practical experience sharing, welcoming the arrival of the Lunar New Year.
The event brought together professionals and creators from various fields including trading, technology, content, and community. Through thematic sharing, annual reviews, and open Q&A sessions, attendees discussed topics related to ecosystem building, product direction, and content and community growth. On the first day of the event, OKX founder and CEO Star delivered a thematic speech via video link. He pointed out that the crypto industry is entering a new phase driven by technological evolution, generational shifts in perception, and global systemic regulation, calling on practitioners and content creators to avoid noise and exaggerated rhetoric, and to adhere to long-termism to jointly maintain the industry's reputation.
At the same time, Star also noted that OKX will take on more industry responsibilities and will continue to provide more diverse, friendly, and convenient financial services within the global regulatory framework. In terms of ecological layout, OKX will continue to promote more friendly and convenient diversified services within the global compliance framework and push for more assets to be on-chain, covering cross-chain assets and RWA (real-world assets), making X Layer and the OKX Web3 wallet important carriers of various types of assets and core entry points for users to enter the on-chain world; at the same time, OKX Pay will continue to upgrade, lowering the barriers to using Web3 and promoting the practical application of crypto payments.
During the annual review segment, Tian Yi, the market director for the Chinese-speaking region at OKX, stated that over the past year, OKX has continuously advanced product and ecosystem construction, achieving phased progress in compliance layout in core markets such as the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, and has reached multiple strategic cooperation agreements with institutions such as Standard Chartered, DBS, and Mastercard, further improving fiat deposit and withdrawal and payment scenarios. On the product side, OKX has promoted the integration of CeFi and DeFi through its built-in DEX and launched various products and features such as "earn from orders," "flash earn," C2C freeze compensation, and Boost, continuously optimizing user experience; OKX Wallet, relying on its self-developed AI risk control engine and 24/7 security system, enhances risk identification and security assurance in multi-chain interaction scenarios.
As of now, OKX's global user base has surpassed 120 million. In the future, OKX will continue to increase investment in underlying technology, security, and product experience to accompany the industry through cycles in a more robust manner.
In the Web3 thematic sharing, Zakk, the head of OKX Wallet, stated that the overall traffic of OKX Wallet has reached an industry-leading level. In the next phase, OKX Wallet hopes to answer the question of "how the on-chain world can truly reach the masses" with a more systematic product roadmap and technology combination. Zakk emphasized "extreme" as the first keyword for the Wallet product roadmap, placing "security and self-custody" at the highest priority. Additionally, the widespread acceptance of OKX Wallet is attributed to its automation and comprehensive parsing capabilities, making asset and transaction information "more readable and usable."
Currently, OKX Wallet has covered 140 public chains, with 30 supporting DEX, and aggregates about 500 protocols; through smart routing and global server deployment, OKX Wallet aims to achieve faster transaction speeds and better prices simultaneously.
Regarding "community and content," Jason, the product head of OKX Planet Community, stated that the OKX Planet Community has launched public testing, marking OKX's first systematic attempt in the community product direction, aiming to create a crypto community that integrates information acquisition, trading opportunity sharing, creator participation, and deep community engagement. The current product covers content forms such as public domain creation, persona display, live interaction, and private domain communities, and provides continuous exposure and conversion for creators and users through a recommendation mechanism.
In terms of incentive mechanisms, OKX Planet has established a weekly cash prize pool and links creator incentives to community activity and platform trading behavior. Jason revealed that in the future, the Planet Community will gradually integrate with the OKX platform in terms of products, information, rights, and ecology, including exploring new community and trading gameplay based on X Layer; in the short term, the focus will be on rapid iteration and experience improvement to promote continuous community growth.
In the direction of strategic trading, OKX has launched the AI Trading Bot. Terrence, the head of OKX's strategic trading product, stated that this product allows users to generate and execute trading strategies through natural language without the need to write code, and provides backtesting, multiple risk controls, and AI explanations for each trade to enhance transparency and controllability. The AI Trading Bot is expected to start internal testing before the Spring Festival and gradually open up after the festival, with plans to expand to on-chain trading, multi-asset management, and explore community forms for strategy co-creation and sharing.
