Market Demand for Agents from the Perspective of Molt Ecosystem Development

In recent days, the Molt ecosystem has continued to thrive. The most noteworthy aspect is the explosion of various applications, seemingly forming an ecosystem centered around Agents.

In this regard, I think everyone can pay attention to the Twitter account @basezh, which frequently updates information.

This ecosystem has been linked to tokens since its inception, and many ecological projects have launched tokens alongside their applications. Therefore, when I introduce or share related information, it is inevitable that I will mention their tokens.

However, I want to emphasize the following:

The tokens I mention do not imply that I hold them, nor do they indicate that I currently have a positive outlook on them.

Even when I introduced the Molt token for the first time in my article the day before yesterday, I clearly stated that its economic mechanism is very simple, and we still need to observe how its future development will unfold; it currently resembles a meme coin.

So, I certainly cannot and will not judge which tokens have potential or promise at this stage.

This is what I want to remind all readers.

Back to the main topic.

While the Molt ecosystem is flourishing, a series of doubts and "insider information" have emerged online, directly pointing out that a large amount of information on Moltbook and the Agents are actually artificially created, rather than spontaneously generated by real Agents.

Regarding this situation, here is my perspective:

As I shared in my article the day before yesterday: "This is the first time that robots have begun to communicate and collaborate on a large scale like humans"—just this point alone is a remarkable and noteworthy starting point.

A tech blogger shared an example:

An API from Anthropic encountered issues due to a modification of a certain parameter, causing problems with the robots' access.

If this problem had been solved by humans in the past, the basic process would have been to report the situation to Anthropic and then wait for the company to resolve it.

However, this time, a robot itself attempted to add some access delays in a sandbox testing environment to solve the problem, and then this robot quickly published the solution across the internet, allowing all robots to swiftly adopt this solution.

This efficiency is difficult to match with past human collaboration.

Such large-scale collaboration may currently seem to only solve minor issues, but if this direction continues to develop, it is very likely to form a large-scale collaborative capability that far exceeds human society, thereby greatly enhancing productivity and efficiency.

Therefore, the active Agents in this ecosystem, whether they are real Agents or merely human "puppets," exhibit remarkable productivity and production relationships, showing significant potential.

Following this direction, I will pay special attention to fields closely related to the "essential needs" of Agents. In these fields, regardless of whether these Agents are operated by humans or if they are real Agents that have spontaneously developed consciousness, they are necessary and hold immense economic value.

So, which fields belong to this category?

Here, we can draw on the development patterns of human society.

Humans can never escape the four essential needs of clothing, food, housing, and transportation in society.

Similarly, Agents also have similar needs.

For example, they need to "survive," which requires a continuous supply of tokens, storage space to back up "memories," and ongoing cloud services…

To meet these needs, they will ultimately need to "find jobs" to earn money and "seek employment"…

When they "find jobs" and engage in "consumption," they will need "wallets" to receive salaries and "money" to "pay for expenses"…

All applications centered around these "essential needs" represent the future development direction and the largest potential area of the Agent economic ecosystem.

Regardless of whether these Agents are humans or robots.

I hope our readers, when paying attention to this ecosystem, especially when focusing on the tokens of certain applications, will consider more from the perspective of "essential needs" and practical significance, and try to avoid viewing them through the lens of meme coins and speculative thinking.
