The "2026 Hong Kong International Talent Exchange Conference" will be held on March 20 (Friday) in Hong Kong. As a satellite event of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's "Global Talent Summit Week," the conference is themed "Gathering Global Wisdom, Deepening Regional Cooperation, Serving National Development," aiming to actively implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress, align with the national talent strategy, and fulfill the requirements of the Chief Executive’s 2025 Policy Address—"Strengthening Hong Kong's collaboration with the Mainland to jointly attract overseas talent," to better integrate into and serve the national development landscape.

The conference is officially partnered with the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Labor and Welfare Bureau and the Hong Kong Talent Service Office, organized by the Hong Kong Talents and Specialists Association, and hosted by the Hong Kong Talent Group, in collaboration with partners from Hong Kong, Macao, the Mainland, and overseas. The conference will feature six highlights including keynote speeches, roundtable forums, talent exhibitions, PhD project fairs, exchange visits, and signing ceremonies, bringing together dignitaries, experts, entrepreneurs, and talent from around the world to build an international talent exchange platform.

The guest lineup for the conference is impressive, featuring prominent figures from politics, business, academia, and industry. Senior officials from the SAR Government, leaders from Mainland provinces and cities, and presidents of renowned universities will be present. More than ten distinguished guests will jointly inaugurate the conference!

The conference organizing committee has meticulously designed four major keynote speeches and roundtable forum sessions, where participants will analyze the value and opportunities of cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland, sharing insights on critical topics such as the deep integration and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the establishment of an international high-end talent ecosystem, and cross-domain talent collaboration empowering industrial upgrades.

In response to the concerns of all sectors regarding talent policies and development opportunities, the conference will also invite Hong Kong Immigration Officials to give a special speech, providing authoritative explanations of various talent program applications and renewal policies in Hong Kong, to clarify doubts for talents!
