I felt quite conflicted when I saw this tweet, so I'll share my personal opinion.

1. In the cryptocurrency industry, whether it is KOLs or personal IPs, pursuing the traffic route has very limited achievements. This is because, in the cryptocurrency industry, whether it is the salary from Musk, advertisements from projects, or KOL rounds, the money earned has a ceiling.

2. The pyramid of the cryptocurrency industry has three directions: exchanges, project parties, and market makers. It's better to describe it as a trident. KOLs are just the base of these three directions. The only way to break free from such constraints is to trade oneself, but trading is also the hardest, and most people can't manage well in this area.

3. The so-called IP may have different interpretations, but I personally believe it consists of a track + feathers. The track is easy to understand; it indicates the field where you can primarily develop, a field with a certain level of influence. More importantly, your feathers, which I think represent your character, imply doing what should be done and not doing what should not be done.

4. I still believe that many young friends aiming to become "KOLs" are on the wrong path. True experts are not about creating personas or putting on airs. Many simply want to share their understanding without seeking rewards through their sharing. Because once there is a purpose, there will be comparisons and cost-performance ratios, while sharing itself should be pure.

5. Sharing should be a joyful thing; earning some money while making oneself happy is totally understandable. However, if one exhausts efforts to seek content purely for making money, I personally think the paths one can take are limited.
