Since I mentioned that I don't have much to do at home and will play games, there are always kind-hearted friends who message me to recommend games, and naturally, "blockchain games" are among them. I am not very interested in most of the games. As a veteran who has been in the gaming industry for over ten years, I can say that the playability of today’s on-chain games is just so-so; many of them are more like "investment schemes" disguised as games.
Regarding @RealGoOfficial RealGo's product, to be honest, I am quite torn. A very good friend recommended it to me, saying it's an innovative gameplay of blockchain games, no longer in the Play To Earn model, and it integrates blockchain games with the Meme ecosystem. Personally, I tested it and would say it's more of a Meme launching platform than a game.
Yes, it's such an interesting format. In terms of gameplay, RealGo draws inspiration from Pokemon Go; the presentation is nearly identical. However, the graphics and operation methods still need improvement. The biggest change is that the Pokémon from Pokemon are replaced with Meme graphics or logos.
In the game, you can directly catch pets like DOGE, PEPE, BAYC, Pengu, and PNUT, and what you catch will give you a certain amount of corresponding tokens. For instance, if you catch Pepe, you will obtain a certain amount of $Pepe. So, although the game itself needs improvement, this launching model does have some novelty.
From my perspective, the direction of this game will most likely end up becoming a traffic pool for "Meme new coins." Players can earn free Meme tokens by playing the game, which increases the number of holders of that Meme's addresses and also increases the exposure of the Meme itself. Furthermore, it adds some application modes such as game integration, pet trading, payments, and group chats.
As of now, it is still in the relatively early stages and has launched a loyalty points program with opportunities for free gains. Personally, I am keeping an eye on it.
