Trump's approval rating has plummeted to a new low amid concerns about the war with Iran

Trump's approval rating has dropped to the lowest point of his current term, as Americans become increasingly dissatisfied with the cost of living and the war with Iran, leading to a continued decline in Trump's support.

According to a new poll by Reuters and Ipsos, 34% of Americans approve of Trump's performance in the White House, down from 36% in a previous survey.

Since taking office in January 2025, Trump's approval rating among the American public has been on a downward trend, with 47% of Americans supporting Trump at that time.

Since the U.S. launched a war against Iran on February 28, gas prices have surged, significantly impacting Trump's popularity. Only 22% of respondents approved of Trump's handling of the cost of living issue, down from the previously recorded 25%.
