Key Takeaways

  • Blackrock led Ether ETFs to $72.64M on Wednesday, topping Bitcoin’s $68.99M inflow.
  • Bitcoin ETFs reached $999.38M over 7 days, while ether gained $184.93M in 4 sessions.
  • Solana lost $1.27M as XRP and HYPE stayed flat with no flows.

The balance of power shifted, at least for a day. Bitcoin remained the main destination for institutional crypto capital, but ether funds drew the larger inflow as investors continued to favor the market’s two biggest digital assets.

Bitcoin ETFs have now collected $999.38 million during a seven-day inflow streak. Ether products, meanwhile, have posted four straight positive sessions totaling $184.93 million.

Blackrock’s IBIT led Wednesday’s bitcoin inflows with $38.78 million. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust followed closely with $37.88 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC added $21.49 million. Smaller contributions came from Bitwise’s BITB and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT, which attracted $5.36 million and $3.77 million, respectively.

Those gains were partly offset by a $38.30 million withdrawal from Grayscale’s GBTC. Even so, the category finished with a net inflow of $68.99 million.

Bitcoin ETF trading value reached $1.11 billion. Combined net assets closed at $80.36 billion, down from the previous session despite the positive flows, reflecting broader moves in the underlying market.

Ether ETFs delivered the stronger result. Blackrock’s ETHA brought in $53.47 million, while Fidelity’s FETH added $19.18 million. No ether fund reported a net outflow. Total ether ETF trading value reached $597.49 million, with combined net assets ending the session at $10.57 billion.

Solana ETFs moved against the wider trend, recording a $1.27 million net outflow.

Fidelity’s FSOL lost about $686,590, while Grayscale’s GSOL posted a withdrawal of roughly $585,460. Solana ETF trading value totaled $54.46 million, and net assets closed at $908.74 million.

XRP and HYPE ETFs reported no net creations or redemptions. XRP ETF assets remained above the $1 billion threshold at $1.04 billion, while HYPE ETF assets finished at $301.78 million.

Zero net flows do not mean trading stopped. Existing ETF shares can still change hands between buyers and sellers on the secondary market without requiring issuers to create or redeem new shares.

The latest figures reinforce a clear preference for scale. Investors continue to direct most new capital toward bitcoin and ether, even as smaller crypto ETFs struggle to build consistent momentum.
