However, it cannot automatically be interpreted as formal procurement contracts, nor can it be directly understood as Nvidia providing guarantees for SK's $500 billion plan. The partnership plans, supply directions, data center construction, and financing responsibilities are commitments at different levels.
The credit market is focused on the legal strength. Which ones are merely collaborative frameworks, which will become procurement commitments, which will turn into financing guarantees, and which need to be disclosed as contingent liabilities in financial reports. The bigger the numbers, the more important the terms.
Seller Financing Analogies Enter Pricing
In this round of discussions, a frequently mentioned analogy is seller financing from the telecommunications equipment cycle of the 90s. Equipment vendors helped operators finance the procurement of their products to sell more equipment. During boom times, it seemed like a win-win; customer construction accelerated and equipment vendors' revenues grew.

Nvidia cannot be mechanically forced into this historical template.
