The annual Ethereum developer conference ETHTaipei 2026 will be held in Taipei's Nangang Bottle Cap Factory (POPOP Taipei) from September 13 to 14. The organizing committee announced today the keynote lineup for both days: On September 13, Cryptonative Day will open with Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum; on September 14, Institution Day will feature a keynote from Lin Zhi-Chen, General Manager of Taiwan Mobile, linking Ethereum's core technologies with the Taiwanese industry. Vitalik to Open Cryptonative Day

The first day of ETHTaipei 2026, Cryptonative Day, will feature Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, as the keynote speaker. This one-day agenda is geared towards Ethereum developers and the technical community, covering protocols and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security and development tools.

Lin Zhi-Chen to Open Institution Day

The following day, Institution Day will have Lin Zhi-Chen, General Manager of Taiwan Mobile, as the keynote speaker. This day focuses on topics relevant to banks and financial institutions, covering institutional wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, real-world assets (RWA) and US stock tokenization, AI-agent driven Machine Finance, and blockchain choices for financial institutions. International and Local Speaker Lineup Continues to Expand

In addition to the two keynotes, speakers at ETHTaipei 2026 come from teams including Polymarket (global prediction market), Uniswap (decentralized trading protocol), Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe (blockchain infrastructure), LINE NEXT, CertiK (blockchain security), OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp (smart contract auditing), Fluidkey, Morpho, imToken Labs, PIF12, and Swarm Protocol, covering protocol research, DeFi, privacy, security, and consumer applications. More speakers will be announced soon.

Taiwan Mobile Joins Gold Sponsorship Lineup

ETHTaipei 2026 is supported by multiple companies and institutions.
