This time I came to Taipei, and on the plane, the flight attendant recommended a four-page list of local delicacies. It was quite interesting. When having a meal, the flight attendant asked what I wanted to eat. I casually said to let her recommend something and mentioned that I rarely come to Taipei and long for its food. The young lady told me a few places on the spot and then left. I didn't take it too seriously.

Later, when I was serving meals, the flight attendant gave me a small note with five names written on it. Although I have been to Taipei twice, I recognized each word, but I had no idea what they meant together.

Then the young lady patiently explained to me that Chun Shui Tang is a place where you can drink milk tea, which is very delicious. Ji Jia Zhuang is a very famous local place in Taipei; she recommended that I definitely try it. She also asked if I could eat spicy food, and if I could, Chuan Yu is great, and many young people really like it. There’s also Liu Dui Huo Fang, which I could try as well.

She also told me that I must eat beef noodles in Taipei and strongly recommended that I go to Zhongshan Station, saying that as long as I get to Zhongshan Station, there are delicious things everywhere. She also recommended Lin Dong Fang’s beef noodles, Little Wang’s boiled melon at Longshan Temple, Xiao Jia Xiao Guan’s stir-fried dishes, and the herbal tea at Dihua Street.

This is great! Actually, I was feeling drowsy on the plane and didn’t eat at all. Every time I board a plane, I just sleep, so there wasn’t much communication, just expressing my thanks before I fell asleep.

When I got off the plane, another flight attendant gave me a thick notepad. I thought it was because I looked too handsome and they wanted my number, but that seemed unlikely. As I was lost in thought, the young lady told me this was a list of delicious places in Taipei that several of them thought of while resting in the back cabin.

Wow, I was super touched! 😹 The service from StarLux Airlines is amazing. Oh my god, besides the four-page list, there was also a blessing note. If I come to Taipei again, I will definitely fly with StarLux Airlines. I'm also planning to check out all the places on this list when I have some free time in the next few days.

This time is longer, so I can pause my fasting for now and continue when I get back to the slopes. This time I want to eat a bit for lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks, even if it’s just a little bit.
