Yesterday, many friends told me there is an extremely expensive beef noodle soup in Taipei, the most expensive bowl costs 10,000 New Taiwan Dollars, which is 2,100 Chinese Yuan or 320 US Dollars. To be honest, I probably wouldn't eat it myself, it's a bit too expensive.

As a result, today my friend @rtk17025 opened my eyes, actually, it wasn’t necessary. When we made plans, I thought I had ordered a bowl for 1,500 New Taiwan Dollars, but they directly brought out the presidential beef noodles, thanks for letting me have a taste.

The noodles themselves weren’t particularly stunning, I chose the thin noodles, and the broth was very rich in flavor. However, the soup was very delicious; I refilled it twice, and the owner said they usually don’t allow refills, but made an exception today.

The most expensive part is undoubtedly the beef, with six different types of beef: Australian wagyu ribeye, American Prime ribeye, American Angus beef short ribs, a mixed cut refined from the junction of beef tendon and meat, and Japanese wagyu. I don’t remember clearly, but it’s approximately these selections.

The quality of the beef was indeed very high, with a melt-in-your-mouth feeling, and there was absolutely no "chewy" texture. The only downside is that the portion was a bit large; after six pieces, it became a bit greasy. When I heard the owner say that usually two or three people share one bowl, I felt relieved.

I also chatted with the owner for a while and recorded a video, which I will edit and post later. This is a beef noodle shop that started 36 years ago. Although there is an extremely expensive beef noodle soup, the owner still said that the main customers are those who eat the affordable noodles.
