After completing the research, I now know how to maximize the use of my USDG. I tried a sample with 100,000 US dollars to give everyone a class to learn about the one-click loop loan launched by OKX.
1️⃣Underlying logic!
The tasks that need to be done with the OKX Wallet essentially automate the following process:
USDT / USDG
→ USDG
→ Pendle
→ PT-USDG
→ Aave collateral
→ Borrow USDG / USDT
→ Turn back into PT-USDG
→ Re-collateralize
→ Re-borrow……
2️⃣ Why can 6.8% be "turned into" 34.6%?
The basic logic for this PT-USDG is approximately:
The yield on the Pendle side is about 3.3%, and then by depositing PT-USDG in Aave, there is an additional yield/incentive of up to about 3.5%, so under no leverage, the comprehensive yield provided by the official is about 6.8% APY, minus the Aave borrowing side of approximately 4.3%, resulting in a net profit margin of about 2.5%.
However, after you collateralize, you can continue to borrow money, and through several cycles, you can amplify the yield, while also increasing liquidation risk.
3️⃣Points to note:
1) Pay attention to wear and tear during the exchange process. You can refer to the steps provided by @BitHappy, which show no wear.
2) PT-USDG will expire on October 29, please pay attention to the expiration arrangements in advance.
3) Always monitor the liquidation line of the loop loan and be prepared when necessary.
