Vitalik @VitalikButerin personally welcomed the prediction market project Trueo's migration from Base (L2) to the Ethereum mainnet (L1).

Vitalik expressed support for Trueo, a project that is more decentralized, takes oracle seriously, and aims for long-term use.

Trueo is a fully on-chain binary prediction market protocol (betting on real-world events by buying YES/NO tokens).

They previously operated on Base and have now announced their migration back to the Ethereum mainnet, believing that L1 is more suitable for becoming widely adopted, highly reliable, and censorship-resistant infrastructure, as well as facilitating deep integration with DeFi in the Ethereum ecosystem.

There will be an increasing number of assets migrating back to Ethereum; L1 also has its own value, and sometimes security and reliability are more important than anything else.
