Dr. Huang Tianyou, Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission, and Ms. Liang Fengyi, Chief Executive Officer, attended the "Dialogue with Global Investors" forum co-organized by the Securities and Futures Commission, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and the Hong Kong Financial Academy today, and interacted with global financial leaders. They encouraged investors to explore value through Hong Kong for the transformation of Asia and to reshape investment strategies amidst the changes brought about by artificial intelligence (AI) and market uncertainties.

In his welcoming speech, Dr. Huang emphasized that the markets within the Asia region differ in cycles, valuations, and growth engines, providing excess returns for active investors willing to explore opportunities outside familiar markets. They can promote rigorous capital utilization, corporate accountability, and sustainable value creation through active management, ultimately enhancing the quality of enterprises. He also pointed out that Hong Kong is a market that allows global investors to understand and participate in the transformation of Asia and to deeply explore value in this process.

Afterward, Ms. Liang hosted the first thematic discussion on the macro situation. She first pointed out that the overall global market remains resilient, but risks posed by sovereign debt, geopolitical tensions, concerns about AI, and policy changes have been increasingly rising. She asked the CEOs of four leading global asset management companies: In the face of heightened pressure, should tactical adjustments be made now, or should strategies be fundamentally reshaped? The guest speakers then discussed how enterprises and investors should respond to challenges under macro risks and the AI growth cycle, as well as assess opportunities in the Mainland China and Asia-Pacific markets.

The forum brought together over 300 local and global financial leaders, marking the successful conclusion of the three-day "International Financial Leaders Investment Summit 2026."
