Today, Defense Minister Umerov reported on his meetings and contacts with partners regarding new support packages: Poland is preparing additional support packages and continues its participation in the Czech-led ammunition initiative. Germany – we expect an accelerated delivery of IRIS-T air defense systems and their ammunition. It is crucial that Germany recognizes its role as one of the key security pillars of Europe and the modern free world, and we deeply appreciate this. European Union – we are working at the EU institutional level to address existing supply shortages. The Netherlands — there is a readiness to continue investing in weapons production in Ukraine. Northern European and Baltic countries – full support, which means new aid packages, new investments in weapons production, and new political initiatives that will strengthen both Ukraine and Europe.
