Thai regulatory authorities have approved the acceptance of USD ₮ as an approved cryptocurrency

According to Golden Finance, Tether announced that the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the acceptance of USD ₮ as an approved cryptocurrency. This approval enables USD ₮ to be traded within the country and promotes its listing on regulated exchanges. The updated regulations aim to enhance the flexibility of digital asset business and will come into effect on March 16, 2025. The Thai SEC had previously solicited public feedback on these changes and finalized them in February 2025 with widespread industry support.
