Amazon Web Services announces the provision of fully hosted DeepSeeker R1 model

Amazon Web Services announced today that DeepSeeker R1 is now officially available on Amazon Bedrock as a fully hosted serverless large language model (LLM), making it the first cloud service provider to launch the model as a fully hosted service. Vasi Philomin, Vice President of Generative AI at Amazon Web Services, stated that with this fully hosted implementation, customers can use the model in a serverless, token based payment model, helping them scale from experimentation to production without managing infrastructure. Amazon revealed that since the model was launched in late January, thousands of customers have deployed the DeepSeek-R1 model using Amazon Bedrock's custom model import feature. (Yicai Technology)
