According to its introduction, "this legislation will enshrine President Trump's grand vision of establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the United States, as well as his determination to consolidate the economic foundation of our country for future generations, into law. Cynthia Lummis stated that Bitcoin is not only a technological opportunity, but also a national priority for the United States to maintain its financial leadership position in the 21st century, ensuring that the country will fully utilize the potential of digital innovation, address national debt, and maintain a competitive advantage in the global economy.
