I attended the IGAD 43rd Extraordinary Virtual Assembly on South Sudan today. Somalia unequivocally calls for immediate cessation of hostilities, de-escalation and a return to dialogue. Peace and stability must be prioritised to safeguard the future of the South Sudanese people.
