Japanese tech giant Sony collaborates with LINE to advance Web3

Odaily Planet Daily News: Sony's blockchain division is introducing Japanese social media giant LINE into the Web3 world, planning to adapt multiple popular mini applications to Sony's Soneium network. The LINE platform currently has approximately 200 million active users, and this collaboration will bring four LINE based games to the Soneium network, including Sleepagotchi, Farm Frens, Puffy Match, and Pocket Mob. This integration aims to enhance in-game rewards and purchasing functions. The Soneium blockchain was officially launched in January this year, and the team stated at the time that they hoped to use it to promote the transition of Web2 users to Web3.
