Today, we made major progress in improving water access for St. Elizabeth and Manchester as part of the greatest transformation in Jamaica’s water infrastructure history! At Gutters, St. Elizabeth, we are installing five new pumps to push water through a 24-inch pipeline to the Gutters pumping station, ensuring a stronger and more reliable water supply for thousands of residents. We also inspected the pipeline and, most importantly, fulfilled our promise to the people of Runnit by finally bringing them water! This is a key part of the Greater Mandeville Water Supply Improvement Project, which is progressing as planned and set to revolutionize how water reaches our communities.
