Mr Titus Tumusiime, the first PDM beneficiary I visited this morning in Butiaba Sub County, Buliisa District, used the funds he obtained to start a piggery project. I am happy to learn that despite some challenges, he has moved qualitatively from zero to 16 pigs. We pledge to support Tumusiime with Shs10m to boost his farm; government will also contribute Shs25m towards a feeds mill to solve the problem of lack of stable feeds supply in this area.
