Huawei's Yang Chaobin: Rapid Development of AI Technology, Comprehensive Acceleration of Industry Intelligence

Huawei held the Huawei China Partner Conference in Shenzhen. During the keynote speech, Huawei Director and ICT CEO Yang Chaobin stated that the development of artificial intelligence is very rapid. In the past 8 months, the traffic brought by tokens generated by AI in the Chinese market has increased by 33 times, with paid tokens increasing by 15 times. Since DeepSeek was released, the price per token in the Chinese market has decreased by 97%. Yang Chaobin believes that it is precisely because of the emergence of these high-quality, low-cost open-source models that the localization deployment of artificial intelligence in various enterprises and industries has become a trend. According to the latest consulting firm report, by 2027, 80% of enterprises in the Chinese market will adopt localized deployment of multi model generative artificial intelligence to accelerate the intelligence of various industries. Yang Chaobin stated that in the face of the accelerating trend of intelligence in various industries, Huawei will work together with three major scenario enabling partners to build a solid computing power base and accelerate the implementation of industry intelligence. The three major scenarios are: industry-specific model training, large-scale inference, and lightweight applications.
