Former audio engineer of American singer Eminem suspected of selling unreleased songs for $50000 in Bitcoin

According to News.bitcoin, Joseph Strange, a former sound engineer for American singer Eminem, has been charged with allegedly leaking and selling 25 unreleased Eminem songs for $50000 in Bitcoin. Joseph Strange is suspected of selling 25 songs created by Eminem between 1999 and 2018. This former engineer lost his job in 2021 after working in the recording studio for four years, without the consent of Eminem or the legal owner of these songs, Interscope Records. Afterwards, the Eastern District Prosecutor's Office in Michigan charged Joseph Strange with copyright infringement and interstate transportation of stolen goods.
