I am pleased to see our MPs out distributing water tanks under our initiative to provide access to water across the country. This programme is designed to bolster water resilience by providing essential water storage solutions to vulnerable households. Here we have some photos from our pilot distribution in East Rural St. Andrew, represented by MP Juliet Holness (@JulietHolness ), a clear demonstration of our commitment to ensuring that every community, no matter how remote, has access to reliable water resources. This initiative is part of our broader strategy to modernize our water infrastructure and to improve the quality of life for all Jamaicans. By equipping households with these tanks, we are safeguarding against water shortages as well as empowering communities to thrive despite the challenges of climate change and economic uncertainty. The Black Tank Initiative is a tangible step toward building a more resilient and self-reliant Jamaica.
