Representatives Zach Nunn (Republican from Iowa) and Jim Himes (Democratic from Connecticut) have once again proposed the Financial Technology Protection Act (FTPA) to help combat illegal financial and terrorist financing on digital asset platforms. The bill was passed by the House last year but failed to make progress in the Senate before the end of the congressional session.
