There are many ways to return the MEV to users. It could be paid to the party liquidated. It could go into a protocol buffer to raise the liquidation threshold on future loans. It could go to in incentives to depositors, lowering costs for borrowers. It could go into developing future innovations. In all cases, competition between lending markets should ensure they don't rinse the users on take rate.
