If quantum computing can break SHA 256, they will go after bigger targets than bitcoin. The moment anyone suspected the hashing algorithm had been broken and keys are no longer safe, price would plumb the depths with alacrity. All the activity is visible on chain. This is not to say bitcoin is impervious to harm. It should find ways to protect itself from this inevitability. But it's not the biggest target on the block.
