Security company: Remind users to update Google Chrome and Chromium based browsers to the latest versions

Kaspersky, a security company, disclosed on the X platform: "We have discovered a highly complex attack called Operation Forum Troll, which exploits a previously unknown zero day vulnerability in the latest version of Google Chrome. If a Windows PC user using the Chrome browser clicks on a malicious link, their computer will be infected with the virus without the victim taking any further action. We immediately alerted Google, who quickly fixed this vulnerability that could put millions of users at risk. We strongly recommend that all users update their Google Chrome and any Chromium based browsers to the latest version
