According to Decrypt, Sony Singapore announced that its online store now supports purchasing goods using USDC through the Cryptocom payment service. This is Sony's first time accepting cryptocurrency payments directly locally, currently only in USDC, with plans to support more cryptocurrencies in the future. Sony has accelerated its layout of blockchain in recent years, and the Ethereum L2 network Soneium developed by its Singapore subsidiary was officially launched in January.
