Altcoin Dominance Market Cap 👇 Figured I'd update on this fractal I've first shared about 2 years ago now. This was on track for a while but the continued BTC strength and Stable coin growth has put more pressure on the overall Altcoin Dominance within the crypto market. Obviously individual alts have done awful because of dilution between them as well. For altcoins to gain back dominance against BTC, Stables and the other majors you need to see ETH/BTC gain some momentum first. I've said this before and I'll keep saying it, without ETH there's no wider altcoin outperformance. Most coins are built on there, many liquidity pools are ETH denominated. You need that wealth effect for ETH & Majors for alts to run. So until that's the case, I wouldn't look too much into these things. Although altcoin rallies are relatively quick when they do occur, there's often some high timeframe retest after its clear the trend is shifting. That can be your cue to get into the action. Until then you either DCA into the bleeding price action or have to be patient until something changes.
