The decision to rescue TUSD was not easy. By providing a loan, I personally took on a risk of $500 million. But this saved token holders who would have suffered significant losses from being hit hard, while also protecting the entire industry from collateral losses caused by First Digital Trust (FDT) misappropriating TUSD reserves. I have always been optimistic that justice will eventually be upheld, and I look forward to working with Hong Kong Legislative Council member Ng Kit cheung to advocate for more robust trust regulation and better promote the development of Web3.
