Linea understands that without strong on-chain metrics, it won’t be able to justify or sustain a high FDV - something critical for long-term growth and market perception. If they launched a TGE today with just 180M in TVL, they’d risk becoming another 50M MC chain like Scroll. Their strategy seems straightforward: leverage MetaMask as a distribution partner for the Linea chain (potentially exclusively). They just need more time and the right market conditions to make it work.
