There are many controversies and pitfalls in CAKE's governance attacks, among which the biggest issue is whether the exchange is using user assets to vote. This misappropriation of assets does not cause losses to users within the exchange and often does not escalate. But it will seriously threaten the security and fairness of on chain protocols. There is currently no absolutely complete evidence, but we strongly do not want this to happen. I also hope that in the future, there will be ways to improve transparency or corresponding supervision measures.
