Jack Dorsy, the former founder of Twitter, believes that if Bitcoin is only a means of storing value and not used for daily payments, then it becomes irrelevant. I partially agree with this viewpoint. The dissenting part is that Bitcoin is not insignificant. It will still become digital gold and its value will not be too small. But there is also a clear ceiling. It has been mentioned many times before that in order for BTC to ultimately become the king of encryption, digital gold narrative alone is not enough, and it must participate in sufficient application scenarios. The reason why public chains such as Ethereum still have competitive opportunities is that true encryption kings need sufficient application scenarios to support them in addition to value storage. Only with enough application scenarios, even penetrating into web2 scenarios and entering daily payments, can we truly open the ceiling of value. At present, Ethereum's exploration of application scenarios is far from enough. In addition to emphasizing continuous optimization of infrastructure, there is a lack of promotion for application scenarios with real PMF. To become the ultimate king is not that simple. Revolution is not about treating guests to dinner, and it is difficult to participate in the final battle without enough determination. Maintain an open view on the future of the encryption field. Not sticking to any previous views.
