99% of the content on SucinctLabs' timeline cannot be separated from code, but few people talk about what Sucinct is in a simple and understandable way. I will use a real-life scenario as an introduction to explain in plain language what @ SuccinchLabs needs to do. ——This introduction is the high-end version of IBC - IBC Eureka, which has just been launched on the mainnet The launch of IBC Eureka is the first to connect the @ cosmos 120+ecological chain and heterogeneous chain with Ethereum, achieving cross chain interoperability based on lightweight client trust minimization. Limitations of the Standard IBC Since its launch, IBC has been widely used in the @ cosmos ecosystem, but it has not been able to scale to heterogeneous chains such as Ethereum. The most challenging technical problem is the high cost and difficulty of deploying lightweight clients on Ethereum to verify the consensus of Cosmos chains. Due to the lack of native support for the Cosmos chain's Ed25519 signature scheme on Ethereum, the cost of Ed25519 signature verification on Ethereum is very high (with a single signature verification cost of $10-100). The role of Succinct in IBC Eureka IBC Eureka has broken through the limitations of the standard version of IBC by integrating @ SuccintLabs, making it feasible to validate consensus on the @ cosmos chain on Ethereum based on zero knowledge proofs. The implemented logic is not complicated: @SuccinctLabs compresses the Ed25519 validator signature of the Cosmos chain into a single zk proof. The Tendermint lightweight client deployed on Ethereum no longer needs to verify hundreds of validator signatures on the Cosmos chain, only needs to verify the aggregated single zk signature. Extended application scenario: Expanding IBC to the global network Since cross chain interoperability between the @ cosmos and Ethereum ecosystems can be achieved based on IBC Eureka, this talent for cross chain interoperability can also be brought to any heterogeneous chain network worldwide. Next, we can envision the Cosmos ecosystem based on IBC Eureka implementation and @ solana@ Eclipse FND and other SVM chains@ Cross chain interoperability of MoveVM chains such as Aptos and @ SuiNetwork, as well as any potential heterogeneous chains. And all of this can be implemented based on @ SuccinchLabs. This is the potential value of Succinct.
