Wu learned that Bitwise has submitted a trust registration application to Delaware and plans to launch a spot exchange traded fund (ETF) based on the Near Protocol (NEAR) token. The registered name of the trust is "Bitwise NEAR Investment Trust". Bitwise still needs to submit a formal application to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for approval.
