BlackRock applies to establish DLT Shares for its $150 billion money market fund, laying out blockchain applications

According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Henry Jim, BlackRock has applied for the digital shares category DLT Shares for its $150 billion money market fund. The DLT share will only be sold through BNY Mellon, which plans to use blockchain technology to mirror ownership, which may be a preliminary preparation or groundwork for the future use of digital currency/cash.
