Eating Melons (Below are speculations/conspiracy theories from some followers): Not long ago, on a Bitcoin L2 chain, LayerBank was hacked due to a security vulnerability, resulting in a large amount of assets being stolen and smashed, causing BedRock's uniBTC issued on the chain to be unanchored. Layerbank was unable to recover the assets and conspired with BedRock to recover the losses through other means.
