Kraken has completed the acquisition of futures trading platform NinjaTrader, resulting in a 19% increase in Q1 revenue

According to Golden Finance, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has completed the acquisition of NinjaTrader, a registered futures broker with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and reported a 19% year-on-year increase in its first quarter revenue to $471.7 million. The acquisition of NinjaTrader will enable Kraken's US clients to enter the traditional derivatives market, in line with its plan to expand its product range and become the preferred platform for all types of trading. It is reported that this is the largest transaction between cryptocurrency and traditional financial companies to date.
