Former SafeMoon CEO Caroney denies fraud allegations, claims founder should be held responsible

According to Golden Finance, former SafeMoon CEO Braden John Karony spoke out on the X platform at the beginning of the criminal trial in New York, stating that he is innocent and did not commit fraud. The Eastern District Court has revealed that Karony has hinted that SafeMoon founder Kyle Nagy, who has fled to Russia, is responsible for some of the suspected fraudulent activities. Karony was charged with securities fraud conspiracy, telecommunications fraud conspiracy, and money laundering conspiracy, and was released on bail of $3 million in February 2024. The trial is expected to continue until May 26th.
