Missouri may exempt cryptocurrency and stock capital gains tax

Golden Finance reports that Missouri may become the first state in the United States to exempt capital gains tax. The new legislation stipulates that capital gains obtained by investors through the sale of stocks, real estate, and other assets will no longer be subject to state income tax. The bill was passed by the Missouri Legislature on May 7th and has been submitted to the governor. If signed, it will officially take effect.
