According to Foresight News, the Tariff Commission of the State Council has issued a notice on adjusting the tariff measures on imported goods originating from the United States. Starting from 12:01 pm on May 14, 2025, the tariff measures on imported goods originating from the United States will be adjusted. The relevant matters are as follows: 1. Adjust the additional tariff rate stipulated in the "Announcement of the State Council Tariff Commission on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Imported Goods Originating in the United States" (Tariff Commission Announcement No. 4 of 2025) from 34% to 10%, and suspend the implementation of the 24% additional tariff rate on the United States for 90 days. 2、 Stop implementing the additional tariff measures stipulated in the Announcement of the State Council Tariff Commission on Adjusting the Additional Tariff Measures on Imported Goods Originating from the United States (Announcement No. 5 of the Tariff Commission of 2025) and the Announcement of the State Council Tariff Commission on Adjusting the Additional Tariff Measures on Imported Goods Originating from the United States (Announcement No. 6 of the Tariff Commission of 2025).
